![]() Begging "please seed" in the comments or to the uploader is not going to speed this up. You will just have to shut up, quit whining, and be patient. So if you see a new upload and there's only one seeder, or there's only a few seeders but a ton of leechers, then DON'T expect speeds like 10MB/s+ download speed. They would all have to have top notch connections or seedboxes in order for speeds that your expecting and I know not everyone has those. You cant expect super download speed when there's 10 seeders and over 100 leechers. Those leechers cant upload faster because they don't have much to upload yet, and with so many people trying to get it at the same time, its going to take a while before alot more people have a sufficiently higher amount to seed or share, which will increase speed. (This depends on their client settings, they could have it set up to only connect to so many at a time, which is good) Then the downloaders share what they have gotten from the seeder so far with other downloaders. Even if a seeder is seeding at 5MB/s, if there's over 100 people trying to get it from him, hes more than likely splitting that speed between alot of those downloaders, causing each person to get like 20KB/s or less. Its not always your fault or your torrent clients fault, but torrent client settings can contribute to slower speeds. First off, if a torrent has a shit ton of leechers and only a few seeders, then of course its going to go slow. ![]() So its time to help YOU fully understand how torrents work because obviously a lot of you are just people who download, expect super fast speeds, and then either don't seed afterwards, have no idea how they work, or are just using a poor or badly set up torrent client.įollow these 4 tips and I promise you will see better results from your torrent client or at least begin to understand how they work a little better.ġ. ![]() I currently seed at a speed of around 82MB/s average on a fast 1Gbps Fiber connection, so begging "please seed" is not the answer. Lastly, if that 1 seeder is never on and you have gotten no progress at all for a few days or more. The one seeder is only uploading at a slow speed like 50KB/s or something. The only time you should have to ask "Me" to seed is if for some reason, the torrent managed to get below 1 seeder, which rarely happens. I'm seeing way too many people who don't seem to understand how torrents work or that are complaining about speeds, and frankly its getting on my nerves seeing all these numerous amounts of people saying "please seed", when its already being seeded and at a nice speed. ![]()
